Ecotech to introduce new device to allow Radions to communicate wirelessly with wifi networks

By Leonard Ho - Posted Aug 26, 2013 08:00 AM
We have confirmed reports that Ecotech Marine will soon introduce a new product called the Reeflink that will allow their Radion LED lights to wirelessly communicate with wifi networks. Radion owners can finally say goodbye to USB cables to program their lights.

The Reeflink will allow Radion lights to communicate wirelessly with wifi connections, thus creating a fully wireless control interface by eliminating the need to connect Radions to computers via USB cables in order to program them.  We suspect that at some point in the future, the Reeflink will also be able to integrate with Vortech pumps similar to how Neptune System's Apex's WXM functions.

It's a safe bet Ecotech will announce more information about the Reeflink at MACNA this coming weekend (or possibly sooner).  We will keep you updated on any news about this product.
