Four seasons

By Leonard Ho - Posted Mar 21, 2016 09:00 AM
Father time moves with purpose! This week marks the official start of Spring. Our partner, AquaA3, shared with us this clever aquascaping depiction of the four seasons.

Many of you may notice the seasons seem backwards (i.e. vegetation in Winter and Spring, bare branches in Summer).  That's because the aquascaper, Federic Fuss, is Brazilian; the seasons in the Southern Hemisphere are reversed.

FYI: The sequence of the photos do not represent real time.  The four photos are shot only one month apart (starting with the "Summer" photo taken in June and ending in the "Winter photo" taken in September.  Visit AquaA3's facebook page for more photos and info about Federic's planted aquarium.
