Magical encounter with a sea turtle

While diving an isolated coral reef in the Red Sea, underwater videographer Simon Spear chanced upon this Hawkbill Turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata), a critically endangered species.  After spending 30 minutes filming the turtle grazing algae, Simon was rewarded with what he calls “a truly magical moment” when the turtle came over to greet his paparazzi before gliding into the blue beyond.
