If you're looking for a super-high-output, quiet, energy-efficient return pump, the new Tunze Silence PRO (model 1073.110) may be the ticket. This pump puts out 11,000 l/h (2,906 USgal./h) of flow using less than 125 watts.

Tunze Silence PRO coming State-side

Tunze's line of Silence recirculation pumps just got a little bit bigger ... or a lot bigger if we're judging by flow.  The new Silence PRO pump outputs an impressive 2,906gph (nearly four times more than that of the next biggest Silence pump) while only using between 95 and 125 watts. This flow (and reported quiet operation) is achieved with a modified Tesla disk-type impeller.

Unlike other Tunze Silence pumps, the Silence PRO is not electronically controllable and does not have built-in flow adjustment, but users can control flow rates the conventional method (using post-output ball/gate valves).

Output: 11,000 l/h (2,906 USgal./h).
Energy consumption: 95 to 125W depending on counter-pressure
Pumping Head: 4.5 m (177 in. or 14.5')
Connection: 1 1/2" GAS hose in/out
Voltage / Frequency: 230 V / 50 Hz (115 V / 60 Hz).
Cable Length: 3 m (118 in.).
Dimensions (without outlet and suction cups): 242 x 120 x 160 mm (9.5 x 4.7 x 6.3 in.).

The price of the Tunze Silence PRO will be roughly the same as the Master Electronic Pump (1073.090), which it replaces (street price of approximately $360 USD).  The new pump should hit retailers shortly before Christmas 2011.
