The aquarium's set of prized T. gigas clams.  They were acquired from the original stock of the MMDC in Micronesia. The largest clam is 25 years old and the smaller one 20, they have had them  in captivity for 20 years (the largest one was 5 when they got it).  The biggest one weighs 167 lbs the smaller 125 lbs.  The adult Japanese Surgeonfish, Acanthurus japonicus shows the size of these monsters.
