A fantastical shrimp aquascape

By Leonard Ho - Posted
Artists have their preferred media and styles. Italian aquarist Sago1985 is certainly no exception. He relies on careful arrangements of gnarly driftwood to create fantastical, surreal aquascapes big and, as is the case with this "side" shrimp tank, small.

Sago1985 published a time lapse of the building of his shrimp tank.  Who says you can't create a good vertical aquascape?

And in case you're wondering about the aquarium right next to the shrimp tank: It's Sago1985's "Ivory Tower" aquascape.

I'm a passionate aquarist of over 30 years, a coral reef lover, and the blog editor for Advanced Aquarist. While aquarium gadgets interest me, it's really livestock (especially fish), artistry of aquariums, and "method behind the madness" processes that captivate my attention.
