Coral thieves turn themselves in

We have a quick follow-up to a story we shared earlier in the week about a team of thieves who stole live corals from a New York LFS. reports the thieves have turned themselves in and returned the stolen corals. However, some of the returned corals are reportedly dead.

Some of the hammer corals at Saltwater Paradise ... minus one.

According to, at least one of the corals returned by the thieves - an Australian hammer coral - appears to be dead. WIVB4 is awaiting news on whether any charges have been filed.
