Art Aquarium is an annual contemporary art installation by Japanese artist Hidetomo Kimura. Kimura brings to life unique multi-aquarium exhibits containing goldfish accentuated by colorful lighting.

Art Aquarium 2013

Art Aquarium 2013 runs between July 13-September 23 at Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall in Tokyo.  This year's theme is called "Cool Goldfish of Edo" (Edo is the former name of Tokyo).  The exhibition features 5,000 goldfish displayed in 17 installations comprised of 70 aquariums.  At night and during the weekends, the exhibition turns into a music lounge aptly named "Night Aquarium" with live music and DJs.
