Whale watcher Barbara Roettger had her camera rolling last week and caught some amazing footage near Santa Cruz, California. Two kayakers and a surfer were in the area when suddenly two humpback whales emerged out of nowhere lunge feeding on anchovies.

They were all very lucky that they weren’t capsized during the incident!
