Team of coral thieves recorded on video

By Leonard Ho - Posted Jan 23, 2013 05:00 AM
Unbelievable! Saltwater Paradise is a "mom and pop" LFS in Tonawanda, NY specializing in reef life. This past weekend, three men and a woman carrying a young child entered the store. While two men distracted the store employee and the woman (with child) served as a look-out, the third man steals multiple corals from the display tanks. And this was all caught on surveillance camera!

Authorities need your help. If you know the identities of any of the four people caught on video, call City of Tonawanda Police at 716-692-2121.

Update (1/25/13): The thieves have turned themselves in.
