Thief steals rare pufferfish, returns it ten days later

By Leonard Ho - Posted
A Portland Oregon LFS was a victim of fish-nabbing on October 16, 2015. After news of the theft made its round in local media, the thief had a change of heart and anonymously returned the rare fish back to the store ... in a pickle jar.

AMAZING NEWS!!Our puffer made it's way BACK!! We received a quick call about a puffer in the Grocery Outlet (very near our store for those of you not local) and we walked there and indeed found him in a brown paper bag in a jar! He is in fine shape and is pretty active in his tank. Thank you all so VERY VERY much for spreading the word and all your warm wishes. He might even have found a permanent home here at the shop :-)
